- The first step is to locate and push the reset button. This is typically located on the bottom of the unit.
- If the unit is not making any noise, plug something else into the outlet that the garbage disposal is plugged into to make sure that the issue is not power related.
- If the reset button does not initiate a power response, but you have verified that the outlet is live and has power coming to it, then your garbage disposal needs to be replaced.

- First, unplug the unit and insert the Allen wrench that came with the unit into the space underneath the unit.
